my 24 year old son has a felony record from 2005..is now off parole and needs a job..tried several temp agencie..no luck..will someone please help..

Has he tried asking The John Howard Society for employment assistance?They will be willing to work with him to find employment and to reintegrate into the community.It will not be easy but he should not give up.Perhaps you have family or business acquaintances who would give him an apprenticeship.He will need your support while he looks for work so he doesn't get discouraged.

I know a young man that age who was in the same boat. He ended up apprenticing as a welder and now has his B pressure ticket. It takes a while to work your way up, but now his truck earns him $1,100/day on the pipeline. He was upfront with everyone about his conviction, and in the welding industry, most never even blinked. He is really good at it and has his life together now.

I'm kind of out of the loop in this area, but has he any connections to off the books...
it's not my favorite line of work, but demolition and construction? Some seedy types there, but some not so bad.
