You're bored, not 'board'

You like fiction?

How about Eragon or Eldest (the second book in that series) by Christopher Paolini.

Or Harry Potter 1 through 6 by J.K. Rowling.

That's 8 books that should keep you entertained for awhile, and if you already read those than at least I got two points.

For Non-fiction, I really enjoyed When Elephants Weep - The Emotional Lives of Animals by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson and Susan McCarthy. That brings the total to 9 books. Hope you are entertained for months now!

Depending on the genre you're looking for... I prefer Sci-fi/Fantasy and think that The Golden Queen by Dave Wolverton is great as well as Spaceling by Amanda Salmonson and The Book of Swords by Fred Saberhagen.

Historical fiction would have to be The Black Rose. Can't remember the Author, but he was knighted for his talents.

Hope these are any help.

Jurrassic Park by Michael Chrichton is one of the best books ever written. WAY better than the movie and the movie rocks! It's SO good, trust me. Also, White Oleander is an amazing, very enjoyable read, and The Time Traveller's Wife is probably the best book I have ever read. It's genius.

The Bible. If you have eyes to see and ears to hear.If not, you need a good teacher of the Word, so that God's word will run like honey over the buds of your mind. There is so much more to the Bible than most people will ever understand. The Word is pregnant: meaning it grows inside of you.It will, when properly understood bring such clarity to the every day events that are transpiring around us.The more you study it,the deeper the level of understanding will you attain. It's like reading tomorrow's newspaper. What a blessing it has been in my life.I have no fear of the unknown,or where we're headed in this world.God's plan is detailed in the Word of the bible.

Hiya! I would suggest The time traveller's wife by Audrey Niffenegger . The title attracted me at first, I never regreted it - in fact, I started reading it again as soon as I finished - it was that good. It is also a bit complicated, since the main character constantly pops in and out of present time - he meets his wife Clare when he is 36 and she is 6, and then get married when he is 30 and she is 22. Anyway, it is just the best book ever!

My favorite book is (yes) the Book of Mormon. The prose may be choppy, but it addresses nearly all the major social ills of our time. If you want something lighter, my second fave is the Riddle-master trilogy by Patricia McKillip. I'm surprised no one has metioned Jane Eyre yet.

My favorite book of all time is "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett. It is a great book set in the medeval period. A building of an historic cathedral sets the stage. The book has everything you will look for; great story, romance, battle scenes, and anything you might have in the medeval times like loyalty or corruption in kings. Enjoy the book, its kind of long too.

The life of Pi.

Story of a shipwrecked Indian boy in a life boat with a tiger, a zebra and an orangutan.
Sounds mad but it is some book, Entertaining thought provoking and i`m still gnawing on what he meant in his conclusion 3 years after reading it, magic.

Booker winner, i believe.
