I have wondered that myself sometimes lol. When I ask a question and the bottom part doesn't let you do spell check I copy and post it to my yahoo email so I can spell check it there then copy that and paste it back on here lol. I don't want to look stupid if I can help it lol. I am a crappy speller :)

I agree with melondude...people are on the fast track and dont want to use the spell check, it gonna take them 2 seconds to do that when they could be answering another question. Plus there is no penalty for not using it...LOL

People are too lazy or in too much of a hurry. The people who need spellcheck the most won't use it. They didn't have the self discipline to learn how to spell so they won't take the time to use spellcheck either. Also maybe they are showing they are just too cool to care about spelling.

They wanna get in, get it done, and get out. They don't care how it looks. Me, if I'm not sure if I spelled it correctly, I use spell check. I like to be able to read what is typed, I believe others feel the same way.

Some people just don't care to take the time or they want to hurry so their answer will be the first to pop up. I try to watch my spelling but I wasn't that great when I first came here

because when you type quickly and have a life and other things to do with your day why would i spend an extra five minnuits checking it's perfect just for you? and when you type out 'detailes' when you ask a question there is no spell check so you have to copy and past it on to word.
i didnt use spell check just to anoy you :)

Theres only a spell check when you awnser and at the top of a question. Oh well, I dont care if they don't know how to spell

AMEN Lornafifi! It makes me nutso cuckoo when people don't use it. Sometimes I just think they don't know any better but mostly they are lazy or just don't give a rip. A simple click of the mark would straighten it up! I am an excellent speller but I am one crappy typist so it is my savior!
