No, it's not really something I think about.
How do you feel about not being European??
I'm not particularly envious of Americans for being Americans, I enjoy my life.
I like living where I do - in a lot of ways I think we have it better here (in Denmark). Sure we have higher taxes, but we also have a much better health care system (in my opinion). I never have to pay to go to the doctor, get an operation, or anything like that.
We've also got less crime here - I can't remember the last time there was a sniper loose in Copenhagen, or someone started shooting and killing students at school.
No, wishing being an American is not the first thing on my mind when I wake up - it's actually never on my mind.
