Since the dance is probably approaching, talk to a few girls. Get to know them. If girls are supposed to ask guys to the dance then hopefully someone will ask you once you get to know each other better. Try mentioning it in a conversation. However, if boys are supposed to ask girls, make sure you do ask someone and don't wait around for someone to ask you.

Chances are, the girls are just as nervous and concerned about getting a date as you are. And they are probably also waiting for someone to ask them. It would be better for you to ask. Good luck!
