Hi, I live in the U.S. and I was just interested in something you may find silly, but was wondering how many people there have to get outside and mow their lawns and weed eat around their homes every weekend during the growing season. Sorry if this seems stupid, I just finished mowing my lawn and just could not help but ask this. thanks

We mostly leave our gardens alone in the Winter. But from Spring onwards it's a weekly chore. Our lawn mowers are no bigger but we Brits are a little smaller! A couple of years ago I was stopped by some American tourists in London who asked me how we kept our grass so green. I told them we always mow in the direction of North. They went away happy with this answer!
A bit cruel really.

I'm in northern ireland and mow the lawn ,although don't need to go out and water it like some states in the USA would have to as it can rain alot.
Weeds over here in lawns can be dandelions and in bad cases thistles.

Most of England is a garden - full of weeds!

Buy a plane ticket and come and visit any of our National Trust sites to see proper English gardens.

Can I just ask, Is the USA actually on this planet????
