About the name Horace, would you name your child that?
or what other names would be close to it?

I would never name my child Horace. The only name that I can think of thats close to that is Horatio. I actually like that name.

Um, no, I personally would not name my child Horace, because it reminds me of a Basset Hound. It just sort of sounds like the kind of name you would name your dog because it would be funny. You don't want your kid's name to be funny, though. If you want a kind of old-timey name like Horace, though, here are a few ideas:
Roscoe (still kind of doggy, but it is cuter than Horace), Rufus (a guy could actually be cool with this name), Tobias (Toby for short), Elias, or maybe Matthias, so at least he could go by Matt.

I really don't like the name Horace. How about Haden, Harris, Holden, Hunter, or another H name?

Yes. It's a nice name and would look respectable on a job application. I think too many people go for overly creative names without thinking of what they are saddling their children with.

Hmmm... not crazy about it, I like Harold, Harry, Hayden, or Hank as other H names for a boy. Or Jordan, I've always liked that name.

i understand kind of why you would like it, but i just think its a name the child will be easily made of fun of for. you always have to keep the childs interests in mind.

I think if you like the name then you should name your son that if he isnt fond of it tell him he can always take on the nick name Ace then he can feel cool lol =)
