PMS can happen to any female who has mensis. Sometimes it gets worse as you get older. I've know women 50 who still have periods, and they still have PMS.

I remember reading an article a long time ago about how PMS may be just in our heads. Studies show that cultures where the concept of PMS hasn't been introduced, no women described any pain, discomfort, or change with that time of the month and other times. I thought it was strange and asked my mom (who didn't grow up in the US) and she'd never heard of PMS or felt the symptoms until she came to the US, nor had anyone else in her family. Just food for thought. (I wish I could find that article!)

Heck No!!! PMS comes along with the package. Even women who have hysterectomies can still get the monthly PMS symptoms they previous had and contiue until "THE CHANGE".

Absolutely NOT. Any woman that has started a menstrual cycle is subject to PMS due to the hormone change.

My PMS was worse when I was a pre-teen/teenager because my hormones were all crazy to begin with.

Don't think it has an age limit. I've been getting mood swings since I first got my period at 12 years old.

LOL no way! it comes before you get your first and mostly long after your last one. Women in menopause get horribly moody. Its a lifelong curse.

noway--PMS may start as young as 9 yrs old and up to 50 yrs old.
