Alexander is non-negotiable since it is in honor of my mom (Alexandra). My last name is very similar to Hopper.

I like the ideas posted above that suggest using Alexander as a first name. It's a good solid name with lots of possibilities! :-)
If you really want to use it as a middle name, I prefer Leo. Miles has a kind of nerdy connotation to it. Sorry... It's a nice name, but I just can't think of anything put a short, skinny accountant in a wrinkly suit. Leo is a little more masculine. (And no, it didn't remind me of "leonardo dicarprio")

I love Miles Alexander! It is such a strong, sturdy name :-) I think that Leo is nice as well but I would choose Miles. Congrats on the addition of your family!
