maybe cuz children in other countries are in worse conditions.

I think its also easier to adopt from another country, especially if the couple wants a baby. Here you could be waiting for a baby for up to 5 years or longer. Most couples don't want to adopt the kids that are already in the system.

because a kid that is not adopted will still have a better chance at life here in the u.s. than in africa dont you think!!!!!
they still have resources to be something here, there is nothing in 3rd world countries, i plan to do the same when i get older!!!!

Children in some other countries dont have homeless shelters to go to when they are hungry or tired.

I think it's horrible too. However, I understand that it's much harder to adopt from the U.S.A. I think that more people would adopt if it wasn't so difficult.
