I don't want to waste my money if not necessary. My husband and I are ttc, my cycles are irregular so hard to predict ovulation. My period should not be due until roughly around the 1st. I have had some changes in my breasts lately - extreme nipple sensativity, change in areola I have also had some mild cramping, and dizzy spells. do you think I should take a test yet or continue to wait it out?

Go to the dollar store and get a $1 test. All pregnancy tests are regulated by the FDA and the cheap ones are really good--sometime even better than the more pricey ones. Go here for more info www.peeonastick.com

Chances are, if your period is due around the 1st, it's too early to test. You could be pregnant, but the pregnancy hormone level wouldn't nearly be strong enough to show up on a test. It takes anywhere from 11 to 14 days after you ovulated for it to show on a test. Pregnancy tests are very expensive and no one wants to waste them. It's so hard to wait to test though because you're dying to know. The hardest part is the waiting. Try going to www.testsforless.com They have perfectly reliable tests for really cheap and they'll be mailed to you in about 3 days.

I think it would be safe to take a test now...but to save money buy the combo pack so if this one comes back Neg. and you still have concerns you have another test you can take and it will save you money. Good Luck..I know how hard it is when your cycles are screwed up..mine were to. BUt now im 27 weeks with a lil girl!!
