Most people become a real estate sales person BEFORE becoming a broker. In fact, you really need to do this before proceeding forward to the broker status. Owning your own brokerage is a HUGE undertaking. The broker exam is a lot more difficult and involved than is the real estate license exam. You really need to check into this with one of your local real estate offices.
