Al Davis is the owner of The Oakland Raiders. He does a fine job buying jogging suits but not as a owner of this team. The game has past him and it time to move on.

When Al leaves, he's taking the team with him. Wouldn't be much of a loss today, but the Raiders can turn it around if Al lets people do their jobs and gets out of their way. Why is it the person in charge is always the one who doesn't have a clue?

As a Bronco Fan, I'd like to see Al Davis there forever. But you are right, the game has passed him by. Re-Hiring Art Shell had to be one of the dumbest moves ever made. Basically the team mutinied. They quit. All Al is doing now is embarrassing himself and his once proud franchise. It makes you wonder how long he's had Alzheimers?

It's kinda hard to run the owner out of a team, as he's the guy that ultimately can decide who to run out of the team. The last owner that the league tossed was Eddie DeBartolo, and that was for being implicated in a bribery case. If Davis doesn't do that, then it's his team and he can do what he pleases.

Al let the victories over the NFL and Pete Rozell go to his head. Now nobody even listens to him anymore. As shame, he was one of the true innovators of the game. Sad that his final years will be remembered as a loser.
