Why, was he living somewhere after his Death? (Sorry...had to get that in.)

Washington DC, but he died in Virginia on the way to a medical conference. As almost everyone knows he was not allowed into a "white" hospital where is life could have been saved.

Drew was living and working in Washington, D.C., at the time of his death after an autombile accident in 1950.
