I have a son about your age that has gone through some difficult times, so I can somewhat relate to your situation. I cant say whether or not I would do that same as your parents because I'm not in their position, but i can tell you that it would be very hard for me to throw my son out.
However, just from what you have written, it seems as though you have been in trouble more than once. As parents, we love our children unconditionally, and want only the best for them. but at some point, our kids need to learn from their mistakes, grow up, and be responsible. You got in trouble, went to jail and did your time. Thats ok. Then your parents let you come back home to help you and you get a DUI! To them, that was just a sign of continued trouble. Just because they are your parents doesnt mean that they should give you endless chances. It doesnt mean that they should support you forever, or that they should sit back watch you ruin your life.
you are 21, you have your whole life ahead of you. You need to realize the choices you make affect not only you, but also the people around you. Any siblings you have will be watching you thinking its ok to do what you do and that makes it even harder on your parents to try to raise them to do right.
You said you are trying to get a job? There is no trying. Go to any mcdonalds, burger king, pizza place, and they are hiring and you will get a job if you want it. Trying is an excuse.
I dont mean to sound harsh, I really dont, because it sounds like you are in a tough situation. but its a situation only you can fix at this point. If you want the support from your parents, you are going to have to stand up and prove to them that you are willing to take responsibility for yourself. I can say with relative certainty that it breaks the hearts of your parents to make you leave their house. the dont want to do it. The question is...have you given them any option?
Good luck to you. God Bless.

Sir, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. No one but yourself made you drive drunk and you knew before you did it that it would revoke your probation if you got caught. Now you want to blame your parents for kicking you out when you have violated their trust once again? Stop your whining and stand up like a man which you are supposed to be since you are legal age. Take responsibility for your actions. Clean up your act and maybe they will let you come back after you serve your time.

Absolutely. I wouldn't hesitate. Hurray for your parents!!! If more parents were like them there would be less criminals around.
You are old enough to make better choices . . . or to deal with the consequences. It appears you don't learn your lessons very well and that you learn the hard way. You violated your probation w/i three weeks of release. How dumb is that?
Maybe you didn't learn the first time ... maybe another jail term will smarten you up.

Tell your P.O everything, first of all. As far as your family is concerned, I am sure that they feel that they can't enable you any more. You are going to have to stand up like a man and take what's coming to you. Hopefully, you can quit drinking/drugging and turn your life around. Good Luck.

Yes. I'd have you tell your PO that you're not allowed to live with me. Then I'd give you a month to save up money. Then you'd have to go. It's your own fault, really. Tough love!

first of all you are an adult, whose conduct they do not want affecting others, and they see no change in you, they see you still at the stage where you don't want to grow up, so i agree with them, i would not want you around either, because by your actions you are showing your not worth helping, and it means nothing to you, because you refuse to learn from your mistakes
