i love my boyfriend, well i think so.i like it when he takes my hand and walks me to class. but i hate it when he tries to make out with me in front of my friends and when we want to see eachother i am the one that has drive to his house and if i ask him to come to mine he says he is too tired and desides not to see me. i have been with him for almost a year and i care alot about him. there are time when he can be cute and romantic but there are times when he really gets on my nerves. brandon has been my best friend for a year. and him and i are really close. he comes over to my house usually everyday after school just to hang out. and when he goes and drives around he would come by and ask if i want to go. i found out he likes me too one night me and him were drinking. he told me if he was ever to leave his girlfriend for anybody it would be for me and we almost kissed but i thought of my boyfriend but i wanted that kiss. should i leave my boyfriend or just talk tp brandon?

If you've been dating your boyfriend for a year, and are not sure if you love him, then regardless of Brandon, you should do the honest thing and break if off.
If its merely an issue of the public displays of affection and of having to drive to his house, its time to have a serious talk with him about what you both want out of your relationship. A relationship must be built on real love. Even with true love, there will not be that magical feeling all the time. It must go beyond a feeling.
Further, no one is perfect. If your current boyfriend is annoying at times, you can be sure that Brandon will have his annoying habits.
If you want to date Brandon, the right thing to do would be to break up with your current boyfriend, and let some time pass before going into a relationship with Brandon.
However, I would be concerned about Brandon's true feelings. He has a girlfriend, and he is saying he would be willing to leave her for you. So, clearly he does not love the woman he is with now. If you start dating him, how long would it be until he says the same thing to some other woman after you?
Kudos to not kissing him, it takes some stamina to resist something like a romantic moment. That means you must actually have some real feelings for your current boyfriend. If he is faithful and honest with you, it would be terrible to let that go, as it is a rare thing. Though you find it annoying, its also relatively rare for a guy to be willing to show his feelings in public. It means he is not ashamed to be associated with you.
I would personally recommend that, even if you break up with your current boyfriend, do not date Brandon. He does not seem to care for his current girlfriend, and if he has told her he loves her, he is lying. He does not place value on commitment. If he feels that way about you, he should have broke up with his girlfriend already, instead of leading her on to believe he loves her.
Bottom line: if you don't think your current boyfriend is the one, break it off. Do not date Brandon. He will break your heart like he would break his current girlfriend's heart: without a care.

i think it was a really good idea not to kiss brandon because now you have no reason to feel bad, the thing is with leaving your boyfriend is will brandon leave his girlfriend or will he just want you on the side, because if he does he is not worth risking your relationship. I see where your coming from with the whole he doesnt come down 2 c u but he can be really romantic cus when hes like that u cant hava go @ him cause hes bein all cute n that! i do think you should break up tho he clearly doesnt realise what hes got n i bet he tells all his mates how hes got u wrapped around his little finger, whilst brandon probably talks 2 his mrs about u subconsciously all the time!

Firstly, don't feel obliged to love or date anyone, you are your own person. Secondly, if your relationship is not making you happy, dont take up anymore time and move on with someone who you feel have mutal wants and preferences. Thirdly, dating a best friend is not a good idea. You were both drinking when you 'declared' yuor feelings and he said he was prepared to leave his current relationship for you; that says a hell of a lot about his fidelity in relationships.
How about you try and make a compromise with your boyfriend and try to meet a middle ground. If not, move on. If yourself and brandon are both single and sober and feel like commiting give it a shot; but be warned, if it goes badly you might lose a best friend, are you prepared to do that?

Sure. Why not? Of course, if Brandon is willing to leave his girlfriend for you and you're willing to leave your boyfriend for him then who is to say that each of you won't leave each other when someone else comes along anyway. Could have some trust issues. Nah. Go with Brandon.

Brandon is oviously willing to break up with his girl for you.He is the one that you like.He is the one that spends time with you.Doesnt his girl notice this?lol.Doesnt he care if she notices? I really think that you should be with Brandon.Some of the best relationships start as friendships.And the best relationships are those with who you feel comfortable with.I dont think you really love your boyfriend.At least like that,,maybe just as a friend. Also,,I wouldnt like a guy trying to make-out with me in front of people.Whats he trying to prove?That you are his?Like a possession?It sounds like a control issue which is not a good thing.And he doesnt take an interest in seeing you as he should.I think you know what you should do,,now break up with the boyfriend & go get that kiss ;O).

If you are a girl, your male best friend is supposed to be your boyfriend. You can't have both a boyfriend and a guy best friend unless one of them is Gay. I say go for hte guy who is trying, but only if he leaves his girl at the same time. If he doesn't leave her too then he's just as bad as your boyfriend.
