i name all the pets that come through my door!

We named them together. Took some give and take, though, so yes I had a choice in the matter.

My hubby named the dog we adopted from the North Shore Animal Rescue, his name is Boone, as in Daniel Boone
Our Black Lab I named The O'Rielly or Rielly/ ryry for short and becasue he is just plain dumb moron works too.
The cat was named by my son, he called him Snuffleupagus, but his tendency to mouse hunt has every one calling him Beastie
The next dog that we sneak past my husband will probably have another Irish name. lol

I have two pets one we named, our guinea pig, Puffy White Cloud aka puffy and the other came with a name but it was her previous name that we chose to use.
Our black cat Midnight.

I adopted my dog from a family friend who called her 'Desi.' I didn't like that name so I changed it, ignoring everyone who told me I couldn't rename a dog, to Darci. My dog didn't even notice, but I think she likes Darci better too. I don't think dogs really know their name they just know how you say it, so if you keep the same tone of voice they will come no matter what you call them!

The dog is called Trixie, named by my daughter, the cats are apparently called candy and floss, i thought they were both called cat and the chipmonks (7 of them) all look the same so they don't have names (i don't think anyway)
