I don't have any decent friends anymore. Sad, but true. I don't think it's me either.
This is why I wrote the latest one off. My granddaughter called her at 25 after 8 one night to ask if she wanted to buy Girl Scout cookies, something she has done the last four years. She rudely said they were getting ready for bed and didn't have time for that. it. She said she'd call her. She doesn't have their number and why couldn't she just say she didn't want any or have my granddaughter call back or just order a couple of boxes of cookies? It was over Christmas break, too, and the woman wasn't even working a the time so why couldn't she stay up and extra three minutes?. How mean to a kid was that?! My granddaughter is not sensitive but she cried when she hung up.
Plus a few weeks before I made a special point of going to meet her grandson who was visintg from out of state and she and her husband went down to the basement the whole time I was there. Never explained why or anything. Rude.
So, maybe it's an age thing. Maybe when you are almost 60 your friends cease to be important ot you.
So, for me, my family is the coolest thing in the world!

Yes to the loyal true friends God Bless them! but Patooey on those fake friends that try to control You. The fake friends are a real pain in the Butt! I rather have a few loyal friends than alot of the pain in the butt type friends..these fake friends can go down to Hades! Or is Hades in the Sun? Doesn't the

Well I greatly appreciate my True Friends.. I don't always agree with their opinions cause they share their true opinions. A fake friend won't do that! A Good friend is a good companion.. A good friend will look past your short comings! My loyal friends know I have a temper and can get real moody but they don't mind. A fake friend says that I should go on pills to control my mood. What kind of friends are U talking about?

That's funny. I work with my best friend at a bar and people are always calling me her and vice versa. Many say we laugh the same. : ) I love that girl and if she is my mirror then I couldn't be happier.

No. They are not. My best friend since 3rd grade hasn't called me in two years. I did nothing to cause this!
Not like I care, but just goes to show you how disloyal some people can be.

I totally agree with you true friends are the best...Its hard to find a true friend so when you find a true friend dont loose them...

I can. i live so far away from home that my friends ARE my family. and, hey, you get to choose them. You like them just because you do, not because you have to. that can make for a very strong bond.
