my ebay invoice is Rs. 250
someone have agreed to buy the product but have cancelled their ebay account(they are no longer registered on ebay).. so my ebay account automatically went inactive. Now,i wanted to close my account. It has just been less than one month since i created an account in ebay.
how can i close my account without paying the invoice?.. or if i close my accoun ,it says my account will be active for 180 days.So till that should i have to pay the rent???
please explain

Contact ebay directly...if you explain what happened with your buyer vanishing they should credit you back what they are invoicing you. Obviously if you owe them money for items you have sold on ebay, you are responsible for paying those fees.

Good luck on this one.
You should probably try to speak with someone at ebay. Easier said than done in most cases.
I had an employer default on an ebay account a few years ago. Since I was the registered user(even though the account was in the employer's name) ebay came after me. I ended up paying them.

Ebay will charge you pro-rate. So they will charge you only up to the date you close your account. You can open/close whenever you want, and they only charge you the usage, not the entire month.

If they show you owe money, then you have to pay it before closing you account.
