Snidely: Where are you from? New Jersey? Michigan? Pennsylvania? Has to be one of those horrible yankee enclaves that thinks it is so special even though it is losing jobs and population. Hmmmm...

BTW, I am not from Texas, but I did live there for 3 years and absolutely loved it!!

You need to think outside the box and expand your horizons. There ARE really great states other than Texas. You aren't even the biggest anymore! Oh! and I don't think that God discriminates against the other states by blessing you more than He blesses them! Anyway, a ton of other states need blessing WAY more than you do!
PS Shore up your borders, will ya, you are the main cause of illegal aliens!

I was JUST teasing! Sheesh! I have never been to Texas but I am sure it is lovely! I got ya goin' though, didn't I? But it IS true. Who needs blessing more than Michigan and North Dakota who are tied as the states with people leaving the fastest. Probably all going to Texas!

Because everything is bigger in TX!! I miss Brownsville, not to mention Dallas.. I wish I was back in TX :'(

because all my family is there... and it's easier for me to find things... the trees are blocking everything here... don't get me wrong, nc is gorgeous... but, i need my wide open spaces...
i'm glad someone mentioned the bluebonnets... austin always had the most beautiful bluebonnets and "indian paintbrushes"... man, i miss austin... i also love it for the bluebonnets...
