I drink lots of water and get at least 7 hours of sleep a night and still have them. Is there a good makeup to cover them or some type of cream to get rif of them?

I know it sounds weird, but try using pink, yes pink, blusher underneath your eyes. The pink contrasts with the bluey grey underneath your eyes and cancels it out. Also you can try getting at least 8 hours sleep a night and drinking 2 litres of water a day, obviously whilst eating a healthy diet! ☻

So I hope you read this, even tho I dont have a list of things for you. You probably already know the normal. Teabags and cucumbers. But those are truely used for swollen eyes. The best thing to do is take a rag and put it under hot water. Press against under the eyes for 2 min. Then rinse your face in COOL water. Esp around the eyes. Get a concealer closest to the color of the top of your hand. AND buy a beige shimmer or light bronzer. After washing face a apply concealer in a circle motion around eyes. Then with your finger take shimmer or bronzer and apply directly under eye. not much is needed. Then take a blush brush and blend. Helps cover dark circles. & Helps me. Dark circles are not easily to get rid of and most creams dont work. unfortunately.

There are some home remedies that may help to temporarily diminish the appearance of dark circles under the eyes, and prevent dark circles from worsening.

1. Be sure to drink enough water.

2. Wear sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 30 under the eyes to prevent skin weakening caused by sun damage.

3. Get plenty of rest.

4. Apply plain cool teabags over closed eyes. Don’t use herbal teabags, because most aren't as effective.

5. Apply cool cucumber slices over closed eyes for 15 minutes.

6. Be careful not to consume too much dietary salt. Start by learning about sources of sodium in the diet.

7. Apply vitamin K cream. Although studies haven't looked at the use of topical vitamin K for dark circles under the eyes, preliminary studies have found that vitamin K may help with bruising.

8. Vitamin C helps to strengthen blood vessel walls.

9. The dietary supplements grape seed extract and pycnogenol contain antioxidant pigments that may help to strengthen blood vessels. They should be used under medical supervision by people on "blood-thinning" drugs such as Coumadin (warfarin) and aspirin.

Certain foods, such as cranberries, blueberries, bilberries, tea (green and black), black currant, onions, legumes, and parsley also contain these antioxidant pigments.

10. Eat kidney-balancing foods. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, a bluish cast under the eyes are due to an imbalance in kidney energy. Learn more about kidney yang deficiency and foods to eat.

I have the same problem. Teabags on the eyes usually does the trick.

Prepare a strong cup of tea with teabags, and then chill the bags with most of the water dripped out. Apply the teabags to closed eyes for 15 minutes during a nap or at the end of a long day.

Im not sure if this is true but I heard that people with dark circles around their eyes are the type who have kidney trouble and bowel problems. have you heard this yourself ? My sister in law has this problem and she does a great job with the face cement. You would'nt know the circles were there when the cement sets.

If it's not hereditary. Try getting more sleep. Otherwise makeup, or just accept that your still the same person inside with or without circles.

If you haven't tried concealer yet, then give it a shot. Don't buy the cheap kind.. the more you spend the better it will be. Use a light golden based color to cancel out the dark color.

I had the same problem and have been using Arbonne's eye cream. Not only the darkness has diminished, but the puffiness is gone.
I could provide you samples.
