Well it seems that when corrupt behavior is uncovered someone is always held out to be the sacrificial lamb.
It occurs in both political parties.
Oliver North....Iran/Contra.
Nixon.....Watergate.
I can't think of his name now but the man who {supposedly} committed suicide in the Clinton scandal.
Now Libby in Iraqgate.
However people are becoming aware that more were complicit.
I think in today's instance we cannot afford to let that be the end of it.
IMO
It isn't the fact that somthing was leaked..... but that there was something to leak!
Who is trying to cover-up corruption and why!
Seems like just the beginning.
We can not afford to let corruption and corrupt government officials exist and run our counrty!
Government officials need to be constantly reminded they are our EMPLOYEES!
They are not ENTITLED to their positions!
They should ALL be held to accountability!
From postal workers to Assemblymen to Senators and yes to the President!
They are "suppose" to represent WE THE PEOPLE!!!
God Bless America! ALL America!
Peace!

Liberal's/Media's all the way.
They spent 100's of Man-hours trying to find ANYTHING to charge him, Bush, Cheney or anyone else with....And com up with?????
Butkiss/Nada/Nothing/Neyet/Zip/Zilch/Zero....
So do they admit they have nothing? Admit defeat? Oh! Heck No!!...
They spend millions more on god knows what and still end up with nothing......But rather than stop there, they push, and push, And end up pursuing him on a charge of "Lying" to "investigators"!
In the case where the "Leaked" identity, was never leaked....because the Identity was never secret to begin with....Because the supposed "Agent" was never an undercover/secret agent....therefore the ENTIRE premise of the >Original< case/charges were FALSE to begin with....Making EVERYTHING coming after irrelevant, and should make it inadmissible.
But, why start to use logic or the law now..........
T.S.

He messed up, they were going to take care of him after he "took one for the team" and served his time, now he lost their support and he will still be convicted and punished

neither. Libby is accused not of the crime, but of the cover up. And he lied. Other's should be helpd accountable, but he still committed a crime and should be held accountable for his OWN part
