Elvis, or Chuck Berry? What do you think?

Technically, Berry put it all in motion from the VERY beginning; but Elvis was a more appealing carrier of Rock for White America, so it took off with him although he didn't create it. Berry gets my vote for creating it, Elvis gets my vote for capitalizing on it.

I agree with His Love Chuck Berry started it but because of the time and all Elvis made it happen.

chuck berry! elvis stole most of his hits from african american artist that didnt have a chance because of racism! come on johnny be good one of the most influential of all time!
