ya, the only gathering trainer is in a little shack north of goldshire and she teaches herbology. the miner is in Stormwind in the Dwarven District (North-East sector) and you must pay 10 copper for initial training, and then 1 silver after lvl 75 and 10 silver after 150.

I think the mining instructor is in SW in the Dwarven District. You sound like a newb. Check thottbot.com.
