do you see a black dot at the end like blood? what is that? also white going up the shaft?

I think it's the root. I don't know for sure though because I don't see it on all of the hairs...

What you describe as a black dot is the keratin bulb at the end of the hair shaft. I'm not sure what the white is going up the shaft, but it could be that your eyebrows are going gray depending on your age.

The black dot is the hair root & on those hairs that you cant see the root on it just means that the hair is to small to have a big enough root for you to see it yet. And that white stuff is called the hair folicle.
