WHO HERE HATES HIPPIES AND WHy?

I hate hippies because they dont know what they're talking about and "MAKE LOVE NOT WAR" is a crappy slogan for anyone. I mean, please. Are we going to 'make love' to terrorists? terrorists who would only love us if we got rid of our freedom of religion?

So why do YOU hate them?

I hate hippies because of:
a. They smell. BO and Patchouli are the only stinky flavors they come in.
b. Ratty clothes they made themselves.
c. Ratty hair that hasn't been washed in years.
d. Their music sucks.

I, for one despise hippies;
Smelly, frisbee playing, dressed in rags, drum-beating, hypocritical, littering, pot smoking wastes of air.

All these people who are overly-fond of telling you "this is not 1960"...Need to open their eyes and take a good look around. Hippies today are more numerous than they were in the '60's, Just look at the turn out of their so-called "Rainbow Gatherings" for proof. (google it) I dont know why the government doest use these mass-hippie gatherings as a perfect opportunity for mass extermination.

Hippies are a very real problem that can not be ignored.

Hippies (in addition to being plain repugnant) honestly believe that if all the world leaders could could just "smoke and groove" together, there would be no more war.
Yes, hippies believe they can solve all of the world's economic, ethnic, ideological and social ills with a pot pipe....

The peaceful and non-blood shedding way out, (for argument's sake) would of course be to convince these vile beings to stop breeding. However, the amount of drug intake that this species seems to have, causes unforeseen hormones.
Therefore no matter how much you convince them that breeding is only causing more damage to "our" earth, they will inevitably get stoned and forget the precious planet that they defend when they are not stoned, (which is never); so they are even useless to their own cause.
When an organized group is bent on making radical changes, but can't even do anything but drugs....for 35 years!, I think there is a problem.

I challenge any poster (dirty, stoned hippie or otherwise), to demonstrate one_single (1) instance of positive impact on ANYTHING! (besides a buzz) that has arisen out of the decadence of the "Flower-Children Movement"

Hippies were an important change to our society. Can you imagine what this country would be like if we were still stuck in 1958? Lets all load Frank Sinatra and Lawrence Welk onto I-Pods. Most people change with the times, however some get stuck in a time warp. It is not that bad to be an old hippy, at least your'e harmless.

There are no hippies, and most of the world's modern countries are social Democracies. Pure socialist countries are a very small minority globally. So, there's really not much to hate, unless you're tilting at windmills.

Maybe if some of their ideas had been considered more closely, we wouldnt be experiencing the problems we currently are. The terrorists you are referring to have been made strong because of people like you.

For the most part you will not receive an education by asking questions such as this here, you will get more of what you already have.
If you want something to hate you really have to look no further than the mirror.

hippies have some good ideas and concepts, just a trange way of conveying them. Maybe we should all bomb the crap out of terrorist countries, killing all the inocent people there as well. And maybe we should all go to church to give our money to the rich preachers and help the poor wretched sinning hippies.

I don't. They're awesome. Doesn't mean I'm one, but it's great having friends who are laid-back and peaceful...people like that are good for our society. They're the ones thinking about and trying to improve our environment.

You are sort of behind the times. The hippies were in the 70's. They are all old Republicans now.
