If parents are involved in your relationship to this extent, I would guess you're too young to be involved in a serious, meaningful relationship.

Love is not about "things going good"
Love is a mutual respect and understanding for the well being of both people in the relationship.
Love is knowing that what is important to the other person has to take prescedence over what your think is important.
Love if true can't be divided, conquered or misled.
