Yup, he can be in love with you even though you two have not had sex together. I already knew I loved my wife and that I was going to marry her before the sex!

I think you need to find out what true love really is and isn't. Read in the Bible, I Corinthians 13 "The Love Chapter" where it says love is patient and kind and seeks not its own way at the expense of others. Love isn't boastful or proud and always believes in the positive. This love is such that it will gladly give its life to save the life of another. If love dies, it wasn't love in the first place, but something else. It says of faith, hope and love that love is the greatest. This kind of love has kept my wife and I married for over 28 years. We never had sex before the honeymoon.
If you don't have this with your husband, you need to develop it together with him or your marriage might fail. You also need to stay away from this other guy because he will cause your marriage to become more rocky. No man likes another man to tell him how to treat his wife, even if he is wrong and your husband might think the other guy is trying to take you away, which actually might be his plan. He seems to be a knight in shining armor who suddenly appears out of the blue to defend your honor. There is some other reason than to just make sure you are treated right. In any case, he is trouble for your marriage and you need to keep away from him.

ok, i'll explain... he Does love you, but its more like the "big brother" syndrome... do you remember when you were a kid and someone had a brother that you just adored? its like that... if you had got the guy, it wouldnt have been as good as you thought.... its the same for this guy
