That way we can force parents who want children to get a child that is already up for adoption. I mean... it may not be a little baby, but that 12 year old wants a family just as bad, right? Maybe once all the kids are out of the system we'll open it back up to new kids.
Oh don't hate me.... these questions are just for humor and starting conversations, so don't get too upset. It would definitely not work out well for the people who weren't allowed to give the child up for adoption, though. Obviously this solution wouldn't work.

If you don't find the preposterous-ness of this question funny, then don't answer. It's supposed to be straight out of left-field and something that would never ever happen.

Maybe if people took more responsibility for their actions, there wouldn't be so many children needing to be adopted. It would be nice to have those older children find good homes too. It's just a shame that most people only want babies. I find it funny that they have no idea that babies grow up to be adults. I think somewhere along the way, they forgot that. Thank you.

Your right this is a bad question. You can't MAKE someone want and love their child and what if a mother who is dead broke and can barley survive themselves get pregnant. The babies would be dead from hunger or lack of medical care waiting for the other children to be adopted. Are you a foster parent or taken a 12 year old in your home that's up for adoption? If not then you won't under stand. My parents have been in foster care for 8 years and the older kids you're talking about have problems. They really need help and you practically have to brainwash them because they're so used to acting one way which really isn't the way most should act. That's why people want to adopt baby's and toddlers who are still learning right from wrong.

I think what matters in adoption is that the person is fully capable of being a good parent at the time of adoption and truly wants to raise a child. Circumstances such as age, support network, living arrangements, phase of life may be very different from when someone place a child for adoption. Often times women who place children for adoption already have children or go on to have them later. Why should women who placed children be penalized?

MAKING PEOPLE keep the children they don't want will only lead to neglect, abuse and torture for that child. wouldn't the child be better off adopted with a family that truly cares? and if the mother of an unwanted pregancy be better off aborting it then putting it in to adoption as adoption can and does cause alot of stress and depression to children when they are older.

i think its a great idea.. and keep in mind i was adopted.. i also thing people with hereditary disease and repeat offender criminals should be forced to have their tubes tied or have vasectamies too though.. and again I was adopted because my biological mother was sent to jail for 25 yrs!!!! I think having children should be a privalage not a right!!!!
