As opposed to voting for whichever candidate looks better, dresses better, talks better, etc.??

I've worked in the election business for 13years and from what I've seen about 25 -30% of the voters that come through are not only uninformed, they don't even know what races are on the ballot or who the candidates are.

Well, lately I see alot of people say they will vote for a women or a black president. What does that tell you?

Probably not as many as there should be. I, however, do my research on every candidate as often as I can.

unfortunately most people think that watching the commercials makes them informed.
