racism is a very complicated topic, because everyone has stereotypes, and even the thoughts of these stereotypes can be racist. the main reason it's fairly complicated is because it's hard to define. One thing can count as racism while another can narrowly make it as not racist. just because one black person is jelouse of whites doen't mean they all are, and assuming that they all are can count as racist for one person but to another may seem completely fine. Most people think that almost anything talking about another race counts as racism, because often times it is. I'm thinking that most people would assume that your father's view were racist.

I'm sorry your friends are being rude about your father. Perhaps you can defend your father by saying he is a good father and the colour of his skin has nothing to do with his personality. There is no need for them to be rude, because he is a person just like anyone else. If they still don't stop, say something to them along the lines of "I'd rather have a good black father, then mean racist friends."

Just ignore them. That is the best policy. They just want to make you mad. The best way to get to them is to act like they don't get to you. The worst punishment is to be ignored.

First you should report her to an authority at the school. No excuse for that kind of behaviour. Next time she says something negative about your heritage just pull out a tape measure and hold it up beside her and tell her you're trying to measure the height of ignorance! lol but really I find a few good public dissings are a good way to take people like that down in a hurry. For example you could tell her that at least YOUR father had the intelligence to teach you good manners.

Some people are stupid, you cant do much for them.

But if you look at hollywood now, almost all of the people considered attractive are from multi-ethnic backgrounds, Jessica Alba, Alicia Keys, beyonce, etc.

The more different people you encounter always makes you a better person. Anyone that treats people differently based on something as trivial as race, are idiots, and nothing can change that.

Um...That's discrimanation! You should tell your principal or someone you trust because that's just WRONG! I mean what kind of A** hole whould say something like that. Doesn't she know any better! And ask her if anything is bothering her because sometimes that stuff comes out of what ther're parents say or there friends say. Or she could just flat out be an A**. But I'm REALLY sorry and I hope everything works out great! GOOD LUCK!

Holy sh*t where do you live that this would even be an issue? that really pisses me off. First off, I don't care who says it's not but punching her in the face is the first choice, then after detention complain to your principal and let your parents know whats up. Maybe you can switch schools or move to a real part of America, say the east or west coast where people are actually normal. I honestly cannot even believe you have to put up with that.

Tell her that her dimwitted opinion means nothing to you and she can keep it. Tell her your father is probably more of a man than hers will ever be and the fact that she is insulting a person who she doesn't even know shows her flawed character and lack of class. Tell her that she needs to mind her own damn business and if she doesn't like your family - TOUGH SHITT! You couldn't care less and smile and walk away.
