Are these phones reliable? The reviews I've read look spotty.

I have had a Motorola Razr for over a year and it has had no problems. I am not sure if it is a "v3" - that may be a newer model. But mine has been in daily use all that time and never suffered any breakdown. It has had its share or normal drops and knocks, too, and keeps right on going. It is a good phone.

My hubby and I both have one, and we both have problems with then. His phone will just shut itself off, and then his sim card with just die...he's had it in numerous times and they just replace the sim card. I've had problems with my display screen going wacky...the image would turn itself backwards, and the colors would go negative. We both have problems with calls not coming in, and then when we get a voice mail it might say that it's from Friday..and the call actually came in Saturday.
We're both going to get new phones and our RAZRs have been nothing but a headache for us.

Well, I do not personally own one however, a good friend of mine does, and she raves about it. So word of mouth is good. However, me giving a recommendation predicated upon actual usage org the phone would be about as helpful as an Englishman recommending a good dentist... Cheerio!!!
