when i was about 5-8 i had a dream ( i wont say the specifics but it was sexual escapade and i no i was young but it was somewat innocent so dont go on saying i was a freak) where i did a sexual act and got caught and woke up. That next night i had the exact same dream except i remembered the previous nights dream and used that info to avoid getting caught as i did the first night, but i was caught a differerent way and then i woke up. Then again on the third night i had the exact same dream and agin with the knowledge of the 2 previous nights and acted accordingly to not get caught, and then i was caught a different way and woke up. These 3 dreams had such an effect on me i still vividly remember the 3 seperate, yet same dreams with intertwining knowledge today and have alwys wanted to know does it often happen that while in a dream, you specifically remember and exactly the same dream another night or is this hightly unusual and does this mean anything specific?

I would say that it is not unusual for people to have these kinds of dreams. I have had several such dreams in my life. They usually regarded some anxiety or stress in my life at the time. As for your dream, I would guess that at your age at the time, it was just puberty or growing up. Curiousity about sex is very common in young children, and completely normal.

I can remember a couple of recurring dreams I had when I was little, though none of them sexual. :) One in particular was kind of like that, where I knew what was going to happen, but I couldn't stop or change it.

I also had a couple of dreams this spring, the second one where I not only remembered content from the previous dream, but also put actual events into it as well. (Had a dream my SIL had a baby and no one told my hubby's family, turns out she was really pg, but then miscarried a couple weeks after they announced it to us. In the second dream, the baby wasn't present, but both of these scenarios were true, the untold baby and the miscarriage.)

I'm sure the reason we can remember things from dream to dream is the same as what causes the dream in the first place, our sub-conscious. I guess the significance of it all would depend on how much you believe in analyzing dreams and how Freudian you are.

I never did figure out what the significance of dreaming that a dozen puppies ganged up and killed one of their litter mates while I stood on the stairs crying and none of the adults cared. Nor do I understand why some of the dreams-nightmares usually-I had (I can't remember specific dreams related to this, and the puppy dream may be one of them) had interludes like old tv shows/commercials that had a picture of and said "Black Cat". (Though as it turns out, my freshman year of college, I found a poster at a sale that I instantly fell in love with--an old French advertisement with a razzled black cat that said "Chat Noir" on it, and it took me some time to put them together. I can't say for sure that it's the same cat, and that part of the dream was always black and white, but I can guarantee I'd never seen it during the time I was having the dreams.) What it means though, I don't know.

at the same time as i become about 12 I had dreamt Jesus sitting in an endless darkish room with a huge table and he stated he were waiting for me. It turned right into a pair of days earlier Easter and various television shows were on with the existence of Jesus, which will have given me thoughts to dream about. i do not imagine it had an impact in my existence. i'm Orthodox Christian too yet do not practice faith very religiously.
