I would show him the door, change the locks, and put a pitbull outside of the door.

Being that I have been with my man for a while I would try to work things out, but if he doesnt want to, well, he knows where the door is.

I would have to show him the door. If he has a thought of leaving he's not happy. Just him having the thought is a problem. He most likely feels he has found someone better than what he already has and thinks the grass is greener on the other side, set him free and see the weeds that has been planted and he can not see

At this point in my life, I'd show him the door (while mentally redecorating and creating a new social life). Honestly though, there was a period when I was younger that I would have begged him to stay.

Since my kids are grown, I would let him go. And changing the locks is a good idea, too! I couldn't have a pitbull, though--he might not get along well with my cats....

If he was leaving to go to the store that would be okay.. :o)
But if he was LEAVING leaving just like that I would tell him not to let the door hit him in the a s s on the way out.

i'd guess i'd let him go sweety and run to the store for a gallon of ben and jerrys, tissue's and rent casa blanca. god i'll look like hell for the next few weeks.
