We have an obligation to fix what we've destroyed, but there is no honor in fullfilling an OBLIGATION.

This ridiculous re-building of our enemy's war damage was only started after World War II in order to give pseudo-humanitarian contracts to corporations like Halliburton. So you are begging the question by accepting this non-obligation in the first place.

Sometimes you have to break something down and rebuild it together because it wasn't right to start with

oh great, it is betty's dad again with another question that can't be answered becasue he doesn't give enough info. All of your questions seem to be anti US. Do you really hate your country so much and if so which country would consider to be better than the US>

Yes, War breaks things and the US is the first country that has cared to help our once enemies. Look at the end of WW2 and you will see how well it works.

NO, we should just leave it in a pile of rubble like everyone else in the world... Maybe we should be like terrorists and blow stuff up and then never help make things better... Good idea!

Why rebuild it? We can just tell them to take care of it themselves...kind of like we are doing in Iraq. We went in, removed their leader, a democratic government was placed, all hell broke loose, and we are now telling them to get their act together.

Yes. It happens everyday. That old factory downtown. That old school in your neighborhood. Its in our nature to want something better than what was there. Call us weird.

Depends on what you're claiming we destroyed. If you're talking about the issues in the Middle East, we shouldn't even be over there, anymore, in my opinion.
