you found out that you have an older half-sister? How would you react to this? i just dont know how to go about this but just look her up. What would you do?

Now, you got one more sister to look after. Dont hate her... atlast she is your sister where she doesn't have any faults in it.

I always wanted a sister and never had one. This is a great opportunity to have an addition to your inner circle. You never know if some time down the road you might need one. There have been many times I had wished I had one.
Call her and ask if she would like to get together at a place and time convenient for you both. When you meet, act like she is the best thing that ever happened in your life. Get to know each other and try to become close. After all, you share one parent. That makes you family and there isn't anything you can do about it. If she doesn't care to see you, then at least you have tried to be what you were supposed to be, her brother. Later on she might need you and then you can go from there.

If I had found that I had an older sister I would feel as the person is a stranger I wouldn't have a sibling relationship with her because she hasn't been in my life since i was born and it sounds a little harsh but it's the truth.

its never happened to me but i guess there would be a range of emotions. to track her down try a website such as ancestory.co.uk. You can put in the parents name to find her birth registration and go from there. Good luck xx
Ask all the questions you can aswell to family involved.
