Americans are so politically and socially inept that it's a joke. More people vote for American Idol than for president. It's very sad.
Iraq has nothing to do with 911 and Bin Laden is laughing big time. We are officially the joke of the world. What an embarassing president.

It only depends on to what degree you are referring to. I think a reasonable person could conclude that the era we've been living in during the last 10-20 years of radical islamist terrorism (in which 9-11 was just one event) is not completely unrelated to the past regime in Iraq nor the current regime in Syria, Iran and other nation states that sponsor terrorist activities. i think it's been adequately proven that the past Iraqi regime certainly supported and funded radical islamist terrorist cells. In retrospect was it the right decision to use it as the final catalyst to justify the coalition invasion of Iraq....absolutely not.....but to say they are completely unrelated isn't true either.

Yes, when I hear someone say Iraq did 9/11, I just want to slap the person and ask, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?!? HAVE YOU ACTUALLY LISTENED TO ANY NEWS!?!? LOL, I mean REALLY! How much do people have to hear to understand that this has been disproved by everyone...even the person who started the war with Iraq says that Iraq didn't have any terrorists when Saddam was in control.

The greatest threat to freedom is apathy. Most people get their news from sound bites off CNN or NBC. Opinions are formed rather quickly based on limited information. Average people don't have the time or know how to research or explore current events.
It's one thing to have an opinion, it's quite another to have an educated one.

Saddam's Iraq was a classic "terrorist state," exercising terrorism at home and funding it in other countries.
If deposing Saddam has not eliminated Islamist terrorism, I'm not surprised. But it has kept them busy, and we have avoided more attacks on US soil for now.
The threat is much broader than Iraq or Al Qaeda. We will all see.

Karl Rove and company did there best do spin the truth about the connection of 9-11 and Iraq. The American public fell for it and now we are paying the price of the war. Thanks Karl, Dick and George.
