how came no matter how many times i shave my armpits i still have very small prickily hairs? why arnt they smooth and the same color my body

A lot of people have this problem. Your best bet, if you are not into pain and spending a lot of money, would be to buy a really good razor. I use Gillette Mach3. Yes, it is made for men, but it will give you a safe, close shave a lot of female razors will not. It costs about $7-$9. (a lot less than waxing or Lazar hair removal.)

Have your armpits waxed. you shouldn't have anything but smooth skin there for a few days. Other than that there is laser hair removal.
