I think it's random, actually. But you all should get great matching T-shirts that say "friends don't let friends wear fur" or some other pro-animal saying. Bob is a big animal rights activist and the t-shirts might help.

During a tv biography of game shows, I learned that the contestants are chosen while standing in line before entering the studio. Nine names are called for Contestant's Row throughout the show.
If they still use this technique, maybe you guys can do something to get their attention and get selected as a possible contestant-if you bid and don't make it on stage you still get a prize and national tv coverage! Good Luck

Overreact to everything they say or do, make yourself noticeable and dress in bright clothing. This is not a contest to see how much dignity you have its a competition to see how much dignity you can lose.

from what i heard, you have to do or be something special that really stands out when they interview you at the door on the way in. i understand that is when they make the selections as to who will be called to "COME ON DOWN"

be as loud and crazy as you can be. i tried to be on a few game shows, and they look for that in people. remember they want to have people watch their shows. the more insane the better.
