I suggest you apply your blush anywyere on the face where the sun might give you that healthy glow; as in a little sun burn or tan. This could be different for some people. I apply it on the apple of my cheek as when I smile all the way back to the hairline over the ear. Be certain to blend well. In addition, I hit my forhead, nose and chin. Give it a try, but don't over do it. Go for that fresh, just came in from the sun look.

Okay well since you have fair skin you would like to get a natural color. Try to go with sheer pinks. I like to have shimmer in my blush because it allows light to hit it nicely-I use Revlon soft mink- Next and I cannot stress enough it REALLY helps to have a blush brush. These are smaller than an all over face brush. Once you have the blush color you like and a brush lightly bursh it over the blush powder to only start with a little. Then smile and dot your cheeks. If your looking to make your cheekbones defined look in the mirror and from the bottom of your ear do a clean stroke down towards your nose but keep like 2 inches from your nose. If you want to glow I suggest using a light bronzer all over as well. If you do think your blush is overdone or if one side looks darker then the other use a cottonball over the darker side to lift the color. It's easier then trying to darken the other side cause then you just look silly! Good Luck!

in the hollows below the cheekbone is best, but it really depends on your bone structure. if you have shallow "hollows" you may want to apply the blush directly on your cheekbones.
applying blush below adds definition to your cheekbones, like a shadow effect (if done right).

On the cheekbones, if you check out my website there is a tool that gives make-up tips and tells you how and where to apply your color.

like one of the answers, it depends on your face structure. if you have high cheekbones or if you have hollowed cheeks, apply blush on the cheeknones. if you're chubby, apply blush under it. i think that basically you put blush where it bulge, get what i mean?

if you smile u will see your cheekbones brush lightly outward do so with the other cheekboe too. You also could use som on the bridge of your nose and beneath ur upper cheekbones.be careful if you dont look right with all these areas highlighted only use one place.
