Sadly there are more saps in America who voted for the American Idol than they did in our election. Maybe thats why the Dems won

American Idol because it is more entertining and it seems to me at every State of the Union speech, the words seem to be the same every time. Please don't take me wrong, as I love the US and proud to be an American, and I simply adore and thank each and every military person fighting for our wonderful country but each time I watch the speech it seems like the same words keep being said over and over; and on that note, I can say, yeah I already heard that. I would rather watch something that isn't the same. Besides I love to watch the tryouts at American Idol. Totally entertaining. Have a great day

Hmm, talentless morons desperately trying to become rich/famous, or a bumbling moron desperately trying to look like he could actually point out Iraq on a globe....
If I could see through all the vomit I'd probably rather watch the SOTU address over American Idol, but It's a tough call. In the end I'll probably watch neither.

Because I'm an American and love my country It is my duty to watch our President give us the State of the Union Speech. All enemies of our country should do what ever they want.

90% of Americans will watch something other than the President. When less than a quarter of Americans vote in the average election would you expect anytihng else??? Funny thing is, the next day 100% of you will have an opinion!
Most of you can't stay married.
Can't manage your money and have debt up to your #@$#.
Can't raise decent kids.
Can't put your headlights on when its raining.
Can't use your turn signal.
etc.
Yet everyone has an opinion on Iraq and thinks they could run the country better.
