actually im a huge music fan and have been for years. Most of my music isnt on crap like mtv and major label bullshit. Its mass-marketed crap.

Yep. Everything is so commercial and cut and dry these days. There's no more music videos on MTV MUSIC TELEVISION for christssake. What happened to the days when bands like Nirvana and R.E.M could get big without releasing a number one single? What happened to any band could make it big if they sent their music to a record company or MTV? Even the commercial stuff sounded better than this crap. Music isn't music any more.

MTV died around 1986 and I heard it doesn't even play music anymore. The only radio music I hear is Yahoo radio where you can rate and ban songs.

MTV more so than the radio; I don't think the radio sucks as much as MTV! Though it does depend on the radio station, of course.

Hell no, man! MTV is kewl, well except that they play too much hip-hop chit, they should play more alternative and rock...yeah that`d be the only reason why i hate MTV, i guess i can hate the radio with you.

MTV used to mean music television. Now it's moron television.
They don't play music anymore. It's just those stupid reality BS shows.

i use to listen to the radio when i was a kid but now that I'm older i don't really listen to the radio. i listen to my ipod or satellite radio. as for MTV i used to watch it but only for TRL b/c i liked to see what videos would be in the 1 spot each week but now i don't watch now that I'm older i watch the news sometimes, but mostly i watch tv shows.
