That sounds unprofessional, unethical and illegal. If he was going to use your picture(s) for publication in a medical journal, he should have you signing consent and confidentiality forms. I'd consult a lawyer if I were you.

Why did he take pictures? Did he ask you? Did he talk to you first about WHY he wanted too? Sometimes physicians find things never seen before, and want to document them for learning purposes. BUT, unless he asked you, and there was a specific reason, you need to call his office and speak with someone. It could be grounds for a lawsuit! Also, was there a nurse present? All male doctors in the US are supposed to have a nurse in the room at all times!
