i am thinking about it, too. i work in a hospital, and i have an excellent dr who spent at least an hour with me answering questions and telling me EVERYTHING!!!! he is the best. if you are worried, maybe you should reconsider. the worst part is generally the first day or two. if you are afraid of pain, let the doc know so he can control the pain for you with meds. it is a pretty safe procedure.

Only you can decide if this is the best thing for you. I have not been blessed with a big cup size myself and had considered augmentation also. I now have decided that while I would feel more womanly with a bigger size, I can be content with the way God made me. Believe me, after 2 kids and being smaller-sized myself, I understand why you are doing this. My sister had this procedure done, only because she was fuller hipped and she wanted to look more evenly proportioned since she was very petite up top. Well, while she is happy with the size, when you hug her, it feels like you are bumping against something hard. I kid you not. My sister tells me that her husband loves her new size, but that she was in a great deal of discomfort for awhile after the procedure, and even after 2 years, she can no longer sleep on her stomach because it is too uncomfortable. These are things you should consider. Still, many women have this procedure done and are delighted and happy. My advice is this: if your gut feeling makes you pause and wonder, then you should put it off until you can feel more at peace. Nobody should have any kind of procedure done that makes them uneasy unless it is medically necessary. The thing that struck me as a concern is that you said you are terrified about the procedure. That fact alone would make me want to postpone it until I felt comfortable. Perhaps you need to talk to other women who have had it done before you proceed and you should get all the details you can from the doctor performing the procedure, so that you will know what you can expect. If after doing that, you can feel good about the procedure and want to proceed, then by all means, go for it! I wish you the best of luck here.

Heres the other side of the story. I was born with big breasts.....and now am struggling with severe back and neck problems because of it. No I am not fat either, I'm a size 14 with DD boobs. Your going to put a strain on your back depending on how big your going. I would not do it. I'm looking at getting mine trimmed down now because I have had back surgery x2. Also, you cannot breast feed once you have implants. Did you know that? Maybe you already have children. Anyway, make an educated choice, and think of the body ramifications it could cause.

My best friend bacame addicted to Vicodin pain pills as a result of her implant surgery. It took her a long time to get off of em, at one point she was eating over 15 pills (all Vicodin) a day. She was also in major pain, she cried and regreted it. Good luck!!

I'm going to hace it done myself next month and I'm soooo looking forward to it. Sure, it will be a little painful, but this summer - watch out! I too have had and nursed three children and I want my figure back now. I'n not going big, just to a full C from my current B.

Don't fret. Be glad you're one of the lucky ones who can have it done if they want to. Not all of the women who want it done can afford it. You'll be fine and you'll look fantastic!

God bless!

I've heard that it is painful after wards. But if your aren't getting giant implants, and you have a good doctor, I'm sure you'll be happy with the results. At least you'll be already for summer and bikini weather! Good luck!

IF YOU HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT ANYTHING, DON'T DO IT. ONLY PROCEED WITH SOMETHING IF YOU ARE 100%.

Fear of the unknown, it is part of human nature. I'm sure you will do great. Someone always regrets doing something in their life. The thing to remember is why you are doing it in the first place.

i wouldn't do it, although i hear that the worst pain occurs after the surgery...they have to wrap and unwrap your chest with bandages =(

you should watch Dr. 90210, they do at least one breast job every show...
