They wrap you up in a big white sheet,
And send you down about six feet deep.
The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out,
The worms play pinochle on your snout.
They eat your eyes, they eat your nose,
They eat the gunk between your toes.
Your stomach turns a slimy green,
And puss comes out like whipping cream.
I asked my grandmother and she said
This is what happens when you are dead!

After death...
The soul alone does not leave the body. The causal body
composed of all the karmas and the electrical body leaves together
with the soul at the moment of death. As long as there is worldly
life, the electrical body will be present in every living being. The
electrical body is always present when the causal body is formed.
Every living being has an electrical body, which carries out the
natural bodily functions, such as digestion and circulation etc. The
electrical body is also responsible for your vision and other
physiologic activities. The soul does not have any anger, pride,
attachment or greed. These anger, pride, attachment and greed
are all mediated through the electrical body.....................
Time Between Births
Questioner: How long does it take for the soul to leave
one body and enter another?
Dadashri: No time at all. As it is leaving one body, it is
also simultaneously present in another womb. This occurrence is
in concurrence with the moment of the union of the sperm and the
egg. When the time comes for the soul to depart from one body,
the circumstances and the event at the other end is also taking
place the reception of the soul. Therefore after the body’s death
the soul goes directly into another embryo. So there is no need to
worry about what may happen in the time ahead. After death
another womb is acquired and upon entering that womb, all the nourishment and everything necessary for its life there is
immediately provided for

Well no one living can say that his answer to this question is correct and none of the others can point out that the answer which is given is wrong. Now according to me I feel that what we consider ourselves to be has to be first checked. Do we consider ourselves as bodies or something other than that. I think life is different than the body. The body is just a means through which life expresses itself and nothing else and when u die it means that the capacity of the body to express life is over and life is liberated out of it. When life leaves the body its just matter and nothing else which has to be disposed of. This can be better understood by a practical example. What happens when a person we dearly love dies?? Do u keep his or her body alongwith u just because u love them..No how much ever u love them u do the cremation of the body. This clearly explains that u never loved the body but the life that was inside the body and now as there is no life in it u donot want to keep it because its useless. Thus after death life is liberated from the body and is always there around us in a form which we are unable to see or hear or touch.
Thank You!!
Keep Smiling!!

you should consider the indian religion Jainism. This religion that i follow tell you all about this. The human does not go anywhere. The soul leaves. Death is simply the exchange of souls. Depending on the karma that you have done in your present life, your soul leaves and enters another living form. Plant, animal, cockroach, human. Once all karma has been rid, which requires severe penance, the soul is free from the cycle of life and death. This is called kevaljnan. (keval gyan). If you would like to know more about this religion, go to google.com and type in JAINISM.

Let me repeat the question once again. Where does the human go after his death. Well to the Elements of course. Where else?
You meant where did the person in the Human go? Well he left much before his body left. And where did the Spirit go? Well, Well, along with the Person it too went. Where to? NoWhereTo.

My dear Monz,
We are all the creation of an omnipotent being we call God. God created a number of souls and just to differentiate each soul He has provided each soul with a body duly designed to suit His plans for its purpose on this earth. The body like everything else on this earth has a life span and can be destroyed at anytime, the soul however, moves on according to His plans. We human Beings are the body, our body belongs to the soul and the soul belongs to God. When ‘we’ (the body) dies it is destroyed by fire or consumed by the earth. Its purpose on earth has been served. It is no more. The soul, however, may adorn another body (provided by God) and continue its purpose here on this earth or be transferred in some other form to some other world. We the human form of body are designed for this earth. We have a pre-determined life span subject to being destroyed at anytime because of various reasons…neglect, sickness, etc. We are programmed with different levels of knowledge which can be upgraded etc. Till date our knowledge level is not enough to understand many things including ‘God,’ however, today we know much more than we knew fifty years ago and fifty years from now we would know much more than today.

Per Hindu tradition, the human consists 2 parts like body & soul.
The body always decomposes after the soul departs to its next destination.
So, human remains unchanged on their relatives minds & captured as part of memory but the body goes one way and soul goes another way after his death.

See when someone dies and they are buried or creamated, the body is still there, but the soul is still alive. when you are ready to live with Jesus Christ, then you are brought infront of Jesus, but if you haven't accomplished what you were suppossed to have accomplished then your spirit still roams the Earth until so. Some people believe that you come back as something and some people don't. When you die your always will be brought infront of Christ and he will decide for you to eaither go to Heaven or Hell.
