Last night on CSI- Miami : Eric Delco was being sued by a con woman and her husband. The woman's husband was found dead and the suit was transferred to her so that she would get the money from the lawsuit. Eric Delco found the real killer of the husband and the guy admitted that he knew the woman and her husband were running a scam for money and he wanted in on it and when the husband said no, he killed him. If the killer told the police department that the woman was working a scam why wouldn't the lawsuit be dropped? Eric ended up deciding to just pay the woman and not go to trial, but why would the case even be a "good" case now anyway? Lack of evidence that there really was a scam or does it not matter?

He probably could have won the case but chose to settle out of court to avoid the trial.

In this case, I think Delco felt it was his burden to bear in order to keep what happened in Brazil (ep name: Rio) quiet and not bring any more heat down on the Miami-Dade crime lab. Just my two cents here, but the way they did that fade-out of him and his long foreboding look at the crime lab, I'm beginning to wonder if Delco and his sister will be reunited soon...

Does that tell you anything 3 albums in 2 years does he even care to spend time making good music. People that flood the market tend to only have a few years at best in them. At least he writes his own lyrics I'll give him props for that.

He did not want it to go to trial. He is worried about what went down when he went to Brazil. He does not want all of that brought up. He mentioned it to Kelly last night on the show.
