i become wondering on an same lines as Sassy Gal. The issues suggested contained in the previous solutions were 70's- surely no longer 80's stuff. decorate with previous images / posters of Bon Jovi, Cinderella, David Lee Roth, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Ratt, Poison, and so on. You stated you've already were given your outfits- yet remember about spandex pants, blue eyeshadow, and make effective you've a lot of Auqanet hairspray accessible. Oh, I how bypass over the 80's.

The best idea I could come up with are eighties music and movies. The potential is endless if you combine the two. You must require dressing the part. These PTA folks would probably have a blast reliving their big hair days. You also have to have a Trivial Pursuit competition to keep the laughs flowing. The sky is the limit...

I have an idea (if kids are going to be there, and I'm assuming they are). You know how some school carnivals have face-painting booths? Have a hair-crimping booth for the girls. Or ask people to donate any 80s clothing or other items (records, etc.) they have and have a small store set up or have an auction.
