The Dream Girls question::: The first person to ever sing that song would have been who ever played the role of Effie White in the first Broadway production of this story. I think that Nell Carter was supposed to play that role but I am not sure if she was the first.
Or were you asking if anyone else in the movie sang it? I don't think so.

answer to q3. u can listen 4 free at launchcast, at your Y messenger 8 but you cannot put them on cd. if you want to download old songs u should try torrents.
