Personally, I think it's about time he played a normal character who turns into a psychopathic killer after reading a book. Good to see him trying new roles. Trailer doesn't look bad either...

I'm looking forward to it. My daughter's birthday's on Feb 23rd. Mine's May 23rd, and my son's are on the 20th and 3rd respectively.....ooooOOOOOOoooooo.... I may emerge from the theater a psychopath myself.

I dont know. It looks like a good idea, but Jim Carrey isnt much for any acting outside of humor. Ill probably ending up going to see it though.

I think it's a good idea for him to try something different, people are getting so used to him playing something stupid. It's past time for him to do something different. Jim Carrey is a very good actor, he needs to show just how good he can be.

I think he'll pull it off well. He did good in The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine. So I'm thinkin he'll do just fine. He is a good actor, despite his silly antics. He just did what he had to to be famous. Now he can get the better roles. That's not to say comedy isn't his forte either. He can just branch out now.

Personally I don't like Jim Carrey in his typical Jim Carrey roles, i prefer him in these more dramatic roles.

I can't wait to see it! I'm especially interested in seeing Carrey in a different kind of role...a serious one. Has all the themes in a movie that interest me!!

I agree. It was about time he did something different and I know he's gonna be great at it. After watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind I'm sure he's got a lot in him than just great comeic performances.
