well, i did meet my husband on there....the most wonderful man in the world...but now its getting old. the only purpose i have one is to keep in touch with old friends....but then i could just email them.

For me, it's not a waste of time. I spend my time talking to my family who live far away from me. I also get to talk to my friends who I do not get to see every day. It is a waste of time, though, if you are one of the people who are there to try and get as many "friends" as they possibly can as well as comments.

yes, b/c if you have it to keep in contact with people thats what plain email and phones are for, and you trying to meet people its safer to meet people face to face, and some people use it for promotion but the advertising from that page dont get them much publicity or further along, its not professional networking, yes it is a waste

well it is boring but dont delete it yet you may get in contact with some one you wanted to hear from in a long time, and one day they suddenly send you a message. i'm hardly on mine yahoo takes all of my time
